Hand puppets are fun especially since the dawn of majestic pioneer Muppet Show of Jim Hanson and world wide invasion of sesame street in nineties. Even digital technology seems supplant traditional puppet production and shows most probably it will survive in time as a genuin genre. We used to produce puppets in a traditional manner but within the last decade digital technology swept all these methods away. Now a puppet character is constructed in 3D on computer defining all parts precisely and shaped by computer controlled CNC (computer numeriical control) systems. İt guarantees the smooth, exact form of details. The rest is mastery of craftsmanship, using the right materials and uniting the pieces.
